The  Northwestern Illinois District of the Church of the Nazarene is comprised of 30 counties covering 19,000 square miles and is home to over 1,500,000 people. Approximately half of these claim no church home. There are at least 52 different languages spoken here. WOW! What a mission field!

The district leadership team has launched an aggressive Church Health, and NewStart, ReStart and ReFocus Movement. God being our helper, we will start 28 new churches, ReStart 5 existing churches, and ReFocus 29 churches by our annual district assembly in 2008.

Our Mission field is bordered on the north by Wisconsin and on the west by the Mississippi river. From Rockford to Rushville, from Stockton to Bloomington and everywhere in between!

Presently we have 60 Fully Organized Churches (Mission Stations), 2 Hispanic Church Type Missions, 2 ReStart Churches and 2 NewStarts.
